They both basically say the same thing though. Talk to Zoltan and Sile to get a bit more information. Agree to help him with his problem and then head back into town. It seems like we might be able to help with that in some way. He’s just drinking because of the depression. He’ll explain, in his own way, that his wife was killed by some poachers. If you don’t, you can ask him why he’s drinking. If you want, you can just kill him now and claim the reward. If you don’t want to kill him, you just have to get him to 50% health. Just roll out of the way of his attacks and then slip behind him for a few easy hits. With a silver sword, a fast hit will do a lot of damage. Regardless of what you tell him, he’ll try to fight you. He’s waiting at the bottom, so drop down the rocks by the right side of the bridge to reach him. When you’re ready, walk back out to the bridge to speak to the troll. He should ultimately offer 200 orens if you can get him to stop drinking. If you’re interested, walk back to the village and go to the back to find Chorab. He’ll mention that Chorab over in Lobinden can probably help you seek a different course than just killing the beast though. He’ll explain that the troll has gone mad and spends all of his day drinking. Use a silver sword to quickly dispatch them, and then talk to the man. Walk out to the destroyed bridge just outside of Lobinden to find a man being attacked by three nekkers. This seems like fine enough work, and Geralt at least wants to get to the bottom of what’s happening. Start off by getting the note off of the notice board about the troll’s bounty.
